RITUAL staking: validators, rewards and withdrawals

What does delegation mean?

Validators help secure Ritual and process its transactions. Delegating lets you place RITUAL with a validator's staking pool and participate in its rewards without operating a validator yourself. Phora lets you choose a validator; appearing in the wallet is not a recommendation or a guarantee.

Check the validator and commission

Review the validator's full address and commission before confirming a stake. Commission is the validator's share of rewards, rather than a promised return for you. Rewards vary, and validator penalties may reduce your stake. Do not treat a displayed balance or a short reward sample as a guaranteed annual yield.

Keep RITUAL for fees

Staking, unstaking and withdrawing are blockchain transactions. Leave enough unstaked RITUAL in your wallet to pay their network fees. Review the amount, validator and transaction details each time.

Unstaking and withdrawing are separate

Unstaking starts the withdrawal waiting period. Phora reads this delay from the staking contract and shows it in blocks; the current configured delay is 2,000,000 blocks. A block count does not promise a specific calendar date. Check the live value and your withdrawal queue in the wallet before acting.

Claim when your withdrawal is ready

After the required block has been reached, use Withdraw to move eligible funds back to your available wallet balance. Until that withdrawal confirms, do not assume the funds are available to send. Review the transaction in the Ritual explorer if you need to check its status.
